Al Qaeda Threatens US With Nukes

Many people accuse the media and the US government of “fear mongering” in order to satisfy some ulterior motive when it comes to terrorism.  Yet the American media and the US government have just ignored, in totality it seems, a direct threat by Al Qaeda.

Al-Qaeda’s third-in-command has told Al Jazeera that the group would use Pakistan’s nuclear weapons against the US if it gained access to them.

So much for “fear mongering,” the American media didn’t even give it coverage on its websites.  This article came out on June 22nd and was headline news on Al Jazeera.  The fact that Al Qaeda wants nukes and wants to attack the US should come as no surprise and it is further evidence of why Obama is right to take the fight back to Afghanistan and to encourage and support Pakistan’s fight against the Taliban.  It is also further reason why we should never have taken our eye off the ball in Afghanistan by going into Iraq.

Curious what was more important in the American media on June 22?  Click the images below to see.  Note that CNN thinks that the following headline is more important than the Al Qaeda threat, “Dads Admit Their Jealous of Moms.”  Fox News, on the other hand, is too busy finding ways to criticize Obama to worry about reporting a nuclear threat.

    Here's my guess. If the economy goes up, Obama's rating will too. If the economy goes down, so will Obama's rating. Now let's watch it right here. It may not happen immediately, but it will usually follow.
