Let’s just be honest. The Democrats always crying out about funding disparities, but prove to actually be the guilty party when research is committed to knowing the truth. I didn’t even know what a 527 group was until Obama blamed the GOP for his decision to pull out of public finance. He claimed that the GOP would use 527 Groups to attack him and unthinking voters of course agree, but the truth is far from that. Here are the top five 527s as of August 6, 2008.
| Service Employees International Union | $18,888,389 |
| America Votes | $14,119,411 |
| American Solutions Winning the Future | $12,158,117 |
| The Fund for America | $11,440,489 |
| EMILY’s List | $8,138,094 |
You don’t have to like the truth, but sometimes you have to admit it. The truth is that the groups with the most financial influence are not supporters of the GOP, they are supporters of the DNC. Now don’t get me wrong I would never accuse the DNC of being honest. It’s just that their hypocrisy can alarming at times.
I guess it is also worth noting that the only GOP 527 in the top five, American Solutions Winning the Future, is heavily criticized by… the GOP.

America Solutions Winning the Future was founded by Newt Gingrich. The Republicans in Congress are promoting the Drill Now Issue.
Democratic?
LOL. American Solutions Winning the Future is the ONE 527 group in the top five that is not a Democratic funder. Hence the title of this post “Four of the Top Five 527s in 2008 Election Are Democratic Funders.” The math should be easy enough to do.
